ITS SPRING!!

which in st. george, is basically the same thing as summer temperature wise….except for the little fact that we're still in school. darn.

BUT

do not fear you angsty summer-yearning teenagers, i have come to save the day with some freaking solid jams that will make you forget that it's not summer. 

actually, no, they probably won't make you forget its not summer because there's no way it will feel like summer until i make it through 4th quarter with my sanity. smh.

DISNEYLAND!!!

the last week of January me and some of my pals had the opportunity to go to disneyland on an orchestra trip!! #orchadorks #dorkestra.

this disneyland trip is seriously why most of us have stayed in orchestra. lol. 

and let me tell you, it was sooo worth it.

my family doesn't get out to the land of disney very often so to say i was excited would be an understatement!

we listened to too much beyonce (actually that's impossible), ate too many churros (oh wait that was just me), made too many feminist jokes, and had a jolly flippin good time.

PEOPLE PERSON

i love getting to know people in the same way that i love traveling. when you travel, you experience a whole new world. getting to know new people is essentially the same thing. by getting to know them, you get a glimpse into their life, into their world. when you're with them, it's easier to see the world from their perspective instead of just yours. seeing the world from the eyes of another person is just as fascinating as seeing the world from the top of the eiffel tower.
